The flatbed

A flatbed tow truck, not a hook

Our tow truck is a Mercedes Sprinter with a flatbed of about 6 metres. The wheels never touch the road, so the gearbox and drivetrain aren't strained — front, rear or all-wheel drive.

Even when the wheels won't turn

The tow truck's electric winch pulls cars with locked wheels, a dead battery or no way to shift into neutral onto the flatbed. You don't have to push it to the road.
